4. Third-Party Services

TranslateNow uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your account data and translation history are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (EU region). See: supabase.com/privacy

• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, Google processes your sign-in credentials according to their Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

• Google Cloud Translation — text you submit for translation is sent to Google Cloud for processing. See: cloud.google.com/translate

• Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment information; we do not store your card details. See: stripe.com/privacy

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Translation history is retained to provide you with access to past translations. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.

• Request correction of inaccurate data.

• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

• Export your translation history.

• Opt out of non-essential data processing.

8. Children's Privacy

TranslateNow is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
